GLMR Expands Life Sciences Team with Two Senior Patent Attorneys

David Müller-Wiesner

GLMR is excited to announce the continued growth of our Life Sciences practice with the addition of two highly accomplished senior patent attorneys, Jenna and Mel. Both bring extensive experience in intellectual property law, bolstering our team’s expertise and furthering our commitment to providing world-class legal services to clients in the life sciences sector.

Meet Jenna

Jenna joins GLMR with a truly global background in patent law. She is a European qualified patent attorney, a registered U.S. patent attorney, and a registered patent attorney in both Australia and New Zealand. Jenna’s diverse experience includes working across multiple jurisdictions, offering our clients a broad perspective on intellectual property matters. Before joining GLMR, she held an in-house position at a leading medical nutrition company in Switzerland, where in addition to working on acquisitions, due diligences, and freedom to operate opinions, she managed a diverse global portfolio encompassing a wide range of technologies including small molecule pharmaceuticals, biologic therapeutics, nutritional compositions, and everything in between . Her expertise in international patent law, combined with her deep understanding of the life sciences industry, makes her a valuable addition to our team.

Meet Mel

Mel comes to GLMR from one of Australia’s largest private law firms, where she gained extensive experience representing both local and international clients across a wide range of technology areas including genetics and genomics, gene silencing, gene editing, probiotic compositions, cloning and expression, antibodies and immunology and gene therapy. Mel has handled a wide range of intellectual property matters, from drafting and prosecuting patent applications to providing strategic advice . Her understanding of the complexities involved in both local originating and overseas client work and prior research experience gives her a unique edge, and her dedication to fostering innovation aligns perfectly with GLMR’s mission.

Strengthening Our Life Sciences Focus

The addition of Jenna and Mel reinforces GLMR’s ongoing commitment to supporting clients in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and life sciences industries. With their collective expertise, our team is now even better equipped to navigate the complexities of patent law across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring that we continue to provide exceptional legal counsel on a global scale.

We are thrilled to welcome Jenna and Mel to GLMR and look forward to the fresh insights they will bring to our clients and colleagues alike.

Stay tuned for more updates as our Life Sciences team continues to grow and evolve!
