Nathan Sinclair is a Registered Australian and New Zealand Trade Mark Attorney. He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemistry from Monash University, and a Master of Intellectual Property from the University of Technology Sydney.

Nathan’s practice involves working with local and international clients in the protection and management of their trade mark rights. Nathan specialises in providing strategic advice along with trade mark portfolio management including brand creation, clearance searches, filing, prosecution, and enforcement strategies. With more than 25 years experience, Nathan has provided assistance to a wide range of industries including automotive, agriculture, building and construction, clothing, cosmetic, software, pharmaceutical and consumer products.

Nathan previously authored LexisNexis Australia’s “IP Practical Guidance” online reference for Australian and International trade marks. Nathan has also been recognised as a leading professional by World Trademark Review’s WTR1000 in 2022, 2024 and 2025.

Nathan is a member of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia (IPTA), and a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ), the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), and the International Trademark Association (INTA).

Nathan is a board member for The Good Brick, a social enterprise retail store based in Greensborough, Victoria, specialising in buying, refurbishing, & reselling used LEGO sets & parts. The enterprise provides supported, meaningful employment for neurodivergent individuals—particularly young people with autism, ADHD, anxiety, or depression. The Good Brick integrates sustainability with social impact, contributing to the circular economy while building confidence, skills, & long-term employability for its team members.
