Mary Tran ■
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ASSISTANT
Mary has 20 years of experience providing support to attorneys who specialise in Intellectual Property law. Prior to joining GLMR, Mary worked as a Senior IP Assistant at a top tier Intellectual Property firm in Australia. Mary has been responsible for managing large patent dockets for attorneys in the Life Sciences field (agriculture, chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals), and is also experienced in managing design and trademark dockets.
Mary has an extensive knowledge of IP filing and prosecution procedures, and is a strong team player whose resourcefulness translates into excellent support to the attorneys. Proficiency and in-depth knowledge are characteristics that make Mary appreciated by her colleagues and clients. She works with both large and small companies, nationally as well as internationally, and is heavily involved in the entire process, from the filing through to grant, and when required in oppositions and appeals.
Outside of work, Mary can be found at her local boxing club learning the sweet science, or baking cakes and sweets for her family and friends to enjoy.
